TWA Trans World Airlines BAe 146 display model in 1/72 made by Space Models circa mid 1980s. This is a rare model made for presentation to TWA, and the cheatline was painted instead of decal which suggests it was one of very few produced and was made specially for the BAe sales campaign. Which we know was not successful as TWA mainline never did operate the BAe 146.
This model is most likely one of just a a few or possibly a one and only made for the campaign. It is a rare piece and is supplied with the original Space Models tripod stand. Although rare, the model has seen better days. The model has yellowed, there are various repairs and touch ups particularly the port side wing which has been repaired from an historical break.
