At $120 for the 1/100 Electras that was a lot of money back then and they were not exactly selling like hot cakes. Apparently Picasso had this same problem when he was alive. The Trans Brasil 1/100 767 was $280. And the Swissair 1/100 CV990 was the same price. So they were not cheap even back then. Factor that a dollar in 1992 was worth $2-3 today in purchasing power.
