Glossy stand versus matt stand which do you prefer?

I recently refinished a 1/72 Verkuyl Fokker 28 in Iberia livery and decided to refinish the stand as well.

So I repainted the stand and applied the white FOKKER 28 decal to the centre of the stand's base. I decided to see what it would like like if I also applied high gloss clear coat to the stand as well as the model. Have a look at the photos below.

Which do you prefer .. glossy stand or matt stand?

I actually prefer the matt stand. So I used some fine grit 300 sandpaper and removed the gloss finish from the stand. It looks much better with a matt stand in my opinion.
