I just got back from the Schwanheim show in Frankfurt last weekend and there were quite a lot of old display models for sale this year. Here are the photos: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.243438442378650.66431.131241826931646&type=1
Prices were high. The 1/100 SAS 747 and DC-10 in metal were asking 800 EUR and the seller took them home without a buyer. Attached are highlight photos.
The 1/100 Lufthansa metal Viscount 800 by Scharshmidt sold for 350 EUR.
Other asking prices (none of these sold) ..
1/50 Verkul Lufthansa 707 and 727 650 EUR each
1/50 Tu154 restoration project 200 EUR
1/50 Hansa Jets (metal Verkuyl models) 400 EUR each
1/72 Verkuyl F28s and VFW614 models were all priced at 350 EUR each
1/72 Vatour metal ID model 80 EUR
1/72 Mig 17 metal ID model 80 EUR
1/50 DC-6 metal DFM model 1500 EUR
1/60 Tunis 727-200 Pacmin 800 EUR
1/50 SAS DC-9 800 EUR
1/100 Lufthansa metal 727-100 old scheme 350 EUR
1/100 aluminum Illyushin jet bomber missing nose canopy 200 EUR
In summary... the prices were far too expensive and very few of the model sold. Sellers are too greedy.
