1/72 Western Air Lines 707-400 in metal
Posted: Tue Feb 26, 2013 5:04 amThis was an old Rife Air France 707 that was beat up that I am in the process of refinishing in WAL livery for a good friend. Just applied the starboard tail markings and fuselage stripes today and I'd like to share a photo.
The 1/65 decals are very old and breaking into lots of pieces so it took a few hours to apply the decals visible in the photo. And they did not go on perfectly. But it is the best I can do and the model looks somewhat OK. I will need to lacquer the decals in place before I work on the nose section and other side.
